Meet the Jury seminars

Content

'Meet the Jury seminars' are lectures by internationally renowned experts who are invited to UHasselt as external members of a PhD jury. The lectures are open to PhD researchers from different research groups at UHasselt, and from other universities in Flanders.

The seminars will automatically be added to the portfolio of the PhD students who signed the attendance list. They can be acknowledged as:

  • DS BSH - acknowledgement will depend on the content of the meet the jury initiative
  • DS ST - category 'advanced discipline-specific knowledge' - seminar/research presentation from an external speaker
  • DS HLS - (only if duration > 3h) category 'scientific skills' - half a technical skills course

If you would like to organise a seminar given by one of your jury members, you can find the application procedure here.
