During the summer period, adjusted opening hours apply. This news item provides the holiday schedule for each branch library.

The University Library has expanded its digital collection with the Taylor & Francis Education Collection. UHasselt students and staff now have access to 228 scholarly journals in the field of education.

This book brings together stories and objects that have helped shape our university: research and teaching in action, from laboratory instruments and collection items to maps, models, traditions and everyday traces of campus life.

The University Library now provides access to the full-text version of Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals through an upgrade of our existing subscription to the bibliographic database.

From now on, UHasselt students and staff can use the Summon Research Assistant in our Discovery Service. The Research Assistant searches directly in Clarivate’s Central Discovery Index (CDI), a broad index of reliable scholarly publications.

Good news for students and staff: from now on, you can not only pick up library books, but also return them via the Student Desk in the Old Prison.

Access to Emerald journals is being significantly expanded. The former packages Emerald Management 120 and Emerald Business, Management & Strategy eJournals are being replaced by the Emerald Management Core Collection.

Acland’s Video Atlas of Human Anatomy is now available on a new and enhanced platform.

From 9 January 2026, UHasselt will no longer hold a licence for the COTAN test documentation.

Discover the A+T platform: a rich digital library featuring leading architecture books, thematic magazines, and project analyses from a+t architecture publishers.

The University Library now provides access to Mathematics Source, a specialized database featuring publications on topics such as algebra, geometry, number theory, probability, and statistics.

Access to Statista will end on Friday, 10 October 2025, and will not be renewed. From that date onwards, the platform will no longer be available via the University Library.
